Some may be new to the term "apostolic center". An apostolic center is not a denominational designation, but a gathering of believers where the five-fold ministry gifts (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) function under the guidance of an apostle. Our understanding of an apostolic center can be likened to an aircraft carrier. It's mission is to receive airplanes in need of restoration, recalibration and refueling, give the airplanes and pilots what they need to carry on their jobs, and then launch them out to once again fulfill their purpose. In Acts 13, we see the church at Antioch functioning as an apostolic 'hub'.
